No, it doesn't end tonight.

Okay so on friday, it was another super slack day in school. Had the practice for the grad ceremony on saturday. We spent most of the time in the hall singing and stuff, quite boring. Anyways, after school went with jason, victor, timo and wanwan to lips cafe in cine. When i got there i realised how long it's been since i've been in town. Heh... Really really long. Like, i didn't even know that the whole 4th floor was closed. (yes call me slow.) The only reason i followed them was because it was 50% there, and i also needed to look for a present to get for kel. So after eating and drinking and SPENDING so much money there, we went around town to heeren, taka, paragon, pac plaza and all around town. All we did was just look around, didn't buy stuff. Heh but when we were walking around, the whole bunch of us were making stupid noises and freaky laughs. Except jason of course, who tried to pretend he didn't know us. ;) Looked at some formal stuff that we could wear to graduation dinner. But that's on the 28th of november, really long way more. There're much more important things to focus on right now. Anyways, the rest of them wanted to go spike their hair using wanwan's wax in the paragon toilet. But at first there was this crazy toilet cleaner who was making dunno-what-shit noises and comments that really pissed everybody off. So we all went to another toilet on another level. They did their stuff and i looked in royal sporting house for a present. Finally chose a pair of nike ankle socks for her. They came back then we walked around a little bit more. I bought a strawberry sundae from mc's before heading home. It was the first time in a long time that i've been out like that. Quite cool...

It's all about yesterday. The 151st Anniversary Speech and Graduation Ceremony. (now wasn't that a mouthful)

We (those mentioned up there) and kaijin and aaron went to catch a movie in the morning. Went to ps and watched infernal affairs 2. Jason had already said he wanted to watch that, and i agreed, of course not knowing it was a chinese film. (yes call me slow) Haven't been keeping up with movies and stuff. Been busy with stuff like the o levels and all. So i felt i really wasted my $8.50 on it. Think timo felt likewise. Both of us really couldn't follow the show, seeing as how shitty our chinese is, or at least mine. C6 for the june paper. Heh... So after the movie went down to the yamaha shop and bought a capo. My old one is quite lousy. Bought from the same place but at least 2 times cheaper. Heh... Then went down and had lunch with timo and kai jin. The rest of them left. Then went home with timo to get ready for the ceremony.

Gave timo a ride to school and headed straight to class, where we took a few photos before the ceremony started. The photos are posted up in the albums, go and take a look. Ellen woo called me over and was like interrogating me about my cca cert. I told her the only reason why i got a merit instead of a distinction was because of the co. I hate him man, and so do the majority of the sec 4's. That's why i couldn't be bothered to appeal for a distinction. He's an asshole. Period.

When we entered the hall, there were quite a lot of parents already seated. We took our seats and then braced ourselves for what we thought was going to be a bore. The first part of the ceremony was quite cool actually. First was the grand entrace of the admin and guest of honour, led by the drum major and the bagpipers. Made me think about the times i was down there. So anyways, had a prayer service thingy and then the boring part came. The speech. The only thing that kept me interested was that he mentioned my name two to three times. Heh, felt quite proud of myself. So many people hearing me being recognised for my achievements. Had quite a few stares and a poke from behind when my name was said. Wonder how my mum felt when the principal said my name out. Then there was the speech by the guest of honour. Was okay i guess, not too boring, but not that entertaining as well. It did inspire me somewhat actually.

So then came the presentation of certificates to all the students. It was quite sad actually. Me, joel, timo and some others around me were just about the only ones clapping for all the students. As in, those who weren't so high profiled and didn't get any applause from the rest of the students. And especially when a famous guy went to get his cert, and the hall erupted in applause, the next guy would be damn freaking demoralised when he hears the applause just die out like that, and all he gets is a few claps here and there. Anyways, when it came to our class, miss tan announced the first half of the class. I couldn't hear a damn thing she said. Then when ellen woo took over, she fumbled not once, not twice, but at least three frickin times! It was super pai seh... First she screwed up joseph's and jasper's arrangements. Next, she called out brendan's name when she was supposed to save him for the last because he's the chairman. Then the WORST OF ALL, she screwed up MY name!! Of all people I had to be the one to kenna. "Nicholas..... Chi Kin... Nicholas Chi Kin Tseng...." Oh man... It didn't matter THAT much to me actually. There were a few laughs from the students but still there was a huge applause. Thanks all of you. Its good to know that i'm not hated by all of you. +D

After that was the presentation of the Senior Josephian of the Year. I really respect salman man... I think he really deserves getting both the junior and senior awards. There were 2 full pages writen about him in the programme. He's amazing. That's all i've got to say. When he got his award the whole level got up and gave him a standing ovation. He really deserved it.Then yang wei made a speech. Felt he was quite self-centred actually. The majority of his speech was about HIM and HIS life in sji. Nevermind, it didn't quite matter to me. The nicest part though was when he said thank you to "CF". So cf also received a standing ovation and lots of cheers. The first time i saw him smiling so big for so long. And i'm sure it was the first for a lot of people to see the softer side of him.

After the ceremony we all went crazy. First aaron took a picture with cf, got balls style. It was amazing. The finale. So then we went downstairs to the canteen where we took lots more photos. They were quite stupid of course, and its all up in the albums. We all took a photo with cf too, mass got balls. Haha... It was damn fun. Then there was a super wassup on kenneth in the canteen. It was really crazy. But the fun didn't stop there. We left sji and were making noise and singing and stuff all the way to the bus stop, on the bus, and to cine. It was total madness. Heh its the only way i can describe it. We went to the food court to have something to eat, before going up to the alley to look around before going home. It was a beautiful day.
