I took close to 45 minutes deciding what to wear, what to bring, and finally leaving the home. Met some of them at Orchard MRT and just before leaving for Kallang, I realised I forgot my ticket. Perfect. Thank goodness for the super-parents who brought it back for me. Hah... And yes, okay, it's my fault that we got frickin shit seats.
Bus 16 took the longest of times to get there, and we only reached at about 7.30+pm. Therefore getting relegated to the upper level seats despite the frantic sprint from the bus stop to the theatre. It was quite a big difference from last time. Last year we went rather early and sat right in the front row and got quite a good view. Hah... Now all we had was a crappy view like this...

THAT'S JIALING AND JOEL, BUT YOU WOULDN'T HAVE GUESSED IT FROM THE PICTURE.

EVEN THE CAMERA REFUSED TO TAKE GOOD PICTURES.Couldn't even recognise anyone from up there. It was depressing, really. So much so that we longed for the intermission so that we could go downstairs and steal seats in the front few rows. Got/Found/Stole a seat next to zy and his classmates. The view from there was a few thousand times better. But the camera still refused to take good pictures. Maybe it's just the camera...
THE SCHOOLGIRL COSTUMES WERE HOT (ON THOSE WHO MADE IT LOOK GOOD).I don't know if I really enjoyed this year's Rapture more than last, but it was still good nevertheless. Alumni dancers used Muse songs, now that's hot. The finale item was good stuff too. And there are a frickin lot of J1 dancers. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. VJC Dance, NUS Dance, teachers... Heh. The breakdance item (or only the brown pants guy) was good. And the dance with the scream, hah, goosebumps man.
After the concert I went backstage to see Kel for a bit. Met a few people then went back to the seating area. Took forever to decide what to do next. So while they decided, I put my camera to use again.

WITH S73, TEO 'SAME-SHIRT' JING LONG, SOCCER GUYS, MING YUANHaving still not decided on what to do, we went downstairs to the lobby hoping for a little inspiration, but to no avail of course. So out came the camera again.

THNG'S JACKET. I ACTUALLY STOOD THERE FOR A MINUTE OR SO WHILE ABOUT THREE PEOPLE TOOK PICTURES OF ME. FOR REAL. HAH.

THEN ONE WITH LEON AND MING...

AND FINALLY WITH JUSTIN AND THE STAR OF THE SHOW.Headed over to "Cosy Bay" the Tesla-Coil-looking-thing with Justin after that. Saw Mark Lai for the first time in quite a while. He hasn't changed. The place was anything but cosy. Air condition would have been cosy, faster and better service would have been cosy, but I guess not. Oh well... Ate a bit, drank a bit, then cabbed home. I made it back before midnight surprisingly.
Gosh, I never knew blogging could be this tiring. By the way, Happy Birthday to Lynsey and Suff the 24/7 babies.
