"run dammit,"

Not even a month of school has passed and i'm getting really tired of it already. What a way to start the year. Barely ever get the chance to blog but i'm not complaining, at least i've got things to do. Going to try and read a book. Dan Brown. Some of you know how much I absolutely love to read, but oh well, let's see how this goes.

Cross country at MacRitchie today. (Think Issac Lim, heh, is that even his name?) Was surprisingly up for it the night before and this morning too. Psyched up and all but I guess it didn't help that much. First time I actually ran the whole course without stopping, that's an achievement in itself. Hah. 44th doesn't seem that good but it'll have to do. Couldn't even get a place in the house top ten. Yucks. And Thng is pro.

Headed to Adam Road after that with a few of them for drinks and talk before heading home with mer for some NFSU2 and online darts. Heh, fun shit. Zhao came later, then cabbed down to harbourfront with thng. Sakae shushi buffet. Ate more shushi in one hour than in half a year. Ordered more and more and the plates just kept on coming, it was scary. Stuffed wasabi into some shushi and passed it around to other tables. Marcus got it bad. Heh... Left early for tuition.

Yz found this picture. I was insulted, but not anymore. It's kinda funky. Hah...

And guess what? There's a whole site to it. Wonderful. http://www.eatmorchikin.com/

"you're my source of most frustration."

Ages since the last post. Well, maybe not ages, just almost two weeks. School's a drag as usual, the lessons part of it that is. The same old mundane routine of lectures and tutorials is the least bit exciting to me. F Maths is now a thing of the past, and oh how much freedom i've got after dropping that evil subject. Training's tiring, but what's new? Oh well, just a short post to clear the cobwebs.

I like that.

"and a happy new year.."

2005 arrived rather anti-climax-ly for me. The build up to it was alright, but not the best of new year transitions. Actually didn't plan to go out at all that night. Just over to a parents' friend's place for dinner & "countdown". Recieved an sms at 10.30pm from timo, saying to meet at 10.45pm at City Hall. Spur of the moment. I left the dinner and caught a cab down.

Right from the start Francis was at his worst, screeching in the packed MRT station. Funny? Embarrasing? Funny. Headed towards Esplanade, but made a stop over to get some drinks. Stop over lasted quite a long time, and we left that place at about eleven plus and rushed to Esplanade for the "countdown". It was frickin crowded, filled with people spraying that streamer things and snow shit all over. Got sprayed in the face and even on the legs by some stalker. Hmm... ;) Met Daryl there, haven't seen him in a while. Stole his snow-sprayer-thing, and at the same time lost the rest of them. So I was wandering around by myself for a while. Found them eventually. The countdown was just some announcer on the PA system WHISPERING the countdown. Oh, the excitement! At least the fun offered by doing stupid shit made up for it. Performance by ELECTRICO was good shit. They're damn pro.

Decided to head to Orchard after that. Ran a frickin long distance to catch the 174M bus which happened to be going in the opposite direction. Then walked over to another bus stop and waited for the bus that never came. Flagging taxis was an impossible feat that night too, so stupidity took place on the nearly empty roads: moshing to blaring radios on trishaws that passed us by. Eventually agreed to Francis' pleas to walk there. Got on a Night Rider, 3 bucks wtf. Alighted at Sommerset and then I went up the 174M (in the right direction) to go home first.

Went for Mark's wedding in the morning, followed by some pretty good food at the reception and then court soccer after a bit of rest. The court was quite slippery due to the rain earlier that day but we made do. Got my shoes soaked in puddles in the ground, so they're probably stinking now. Heh... Fun nonetheless.

School starts tomorrow. Isn't that wonderful? No more late nights, all the early mornings, the never ending supply of tutorials, constant nagging from teachers... Ahh, that's life.
