Taxi Thieves: A Sequel

Woke up this morning at 9am and took over an hour packing my bag and picking my clothes before heading to school. Still, I maintain that I am not gay. I was damn sleepy all the way, and it made me almost regret my decision to wake up early. 9am is early for a school holiday. Met Thng, saw a teacher, and many other students on the bus. Thought that I wasn't the only one so eager to start mugging. Sadly, it turned out to that many actually just had remedial, CCA or camp. Oh well...

So many CCA's were having camp in school at the same time. Sports Club, Guitar Club, Choir, Mentoring, SFC just ended theirs, did I miss any out? Nevermind, that's not important. What really sucked, was that the school was packed, almost like a normal school day. The cafe was noisy to say the least and it didn't help the mugging at all. Not sure if i'll go down again tomorrow. Freaking waste of time if I don't get anything done. And no, music doesn't help. This is nearly in your face kind of noise.

Lunch with a few J1's. Lots of laughs and lots of food. Back to school with Teck while the rest left. Studied a bit, fooled around more, then Thng came back. Filmed a video which you can ask me for. Won't upload it for privacy reasons. Hah. Freeloaded some food from the good guys and girls in Mentoring then left for home with Teck not long after. Now, we get to the most important paragraphs.

We decided to share a taxi, for rather different reasons. I was running a bit late and he refused to go up the 93 with some people. So while waiting for a taxi, a whole mass of people suddenly appeared from the tunnel leading from the HP building. They happily went to stand all around us and flag the taxis that passed. I didn't hold back much of my frustration and wanted to walk in front of them and get the damn taxi. I didn't, only because that Teck refused.

Dictionary.com defines theives as ones who steal, especially by stealth. A racist would say they were really damn stealthy. A non-racist would say it wasn't stealthy, but like frickin daylight robbery. They blatantly walked in front of us and starting sticking out their flabby arms. It was like we weren't there at all. At least 5 taxis we missed, stolen by those... whatevers. Then three taxis came together. Luckily the people had already left so we could just make it for the last cab. The losers in front of us didn't even move, and when we finally started going, they got out of their cabs because the cabbie didn't know the destination. I say, well deserved you damn taxi theives. May no taxi ever stop for you again and forever more.

Green Hot

The change of template was mostly because the old one was getting too old, and it was just not green enough. The sudden liking for green started because of Miss Sharapova of course. Too bad I couldn't get as nice a picture as when she was wasn't in green. Nevermind, she's still hot.

She's the one on the left, by the way.

Also, you may notice that there's no more tag-board. Not sure if i'll add it in later but for now and maybe forever, click on that "comments" thing at the bottom corner and leave your two cents worth there. Thanks, you're the best.

"is this the one?"

It's been a while to say the least and i'm finally blogging again. Maybe not the best of times to re-start blogging but what the hell. I finally kind of realise why despite trying countless times before to re-blog, it never happened. I guess I keep on trying to write "the perfect entry". So this is it. The imperfect entry.

I was blog hopping a while back and read quite a few blogs which belonged to SA students whom I have never heard of/knew existed. That period of time was when all these blogs (probably including mine) were scrutinised for any little bit of defamatory. So all of them were writing things like "oh now I must be careful of what I write" blah blah blah. Now what happened to the freedom of speech you ask. According to the teachers and all you can't write anything bad about anyone or you'll get into serious trouble. By law. Or at least that's how i think it is. Oh well, since i've got nothing good to say about that i'll leave it as it is. You can't sue me.

On a totally different note, Russell Peters is the shit. I saw it for the first time quite a while ago and I laughed my ass off watching it, but only recently has it really become a major talking point in school and outside. Everywhere you go you hear lines like "thirty-five dollars" and "be a man" in that whiny Chinese accent, and it's beginning to bug me. Kind of like an overdose. I guess it's sort of the same as music. Hearing My Chemical Romance blasting from the next room, MTV and radio stations, seeing their name vandalised in the frickin reading room, yes, it gets on your nerves eventually.

With just over a month to Block Test 2, the mugger will emerge and show himself pretty soon. The holidays (what holidays?) would probably be spent either in school or somewhere away from home where work can actually be done, in the company of others or not. Maybe the muggers of Block Test 1 will reunite. Those were the days... Or not.

"beautiful"

So far away, i'm gone. Please don't follow me tonight.
And while I'm gone, everything will be alright.
